I don’t want to sound negative, but in my opinion there is a lot of misinformation and bias on that other BGE forum and they have driven others away, including me with their likeminded ceramic cooker attitude. Again this is my two cents about that other forum.
I own a large BGE and use it along with my Weber kettle and UDS.
When I use my kettle or UDS I sometimes regret the amount of money I spent on the BGE. To be honest I think I just got caught up in all the BGE hype. I have not noticed any difference in the taste of the food; it’s just a different way of cooking.
Don’t get me wrong I love cooking on ceramic they are fun to cook on, but in my mind the jury is still out if they are worth the money.
