Rachel, assuming you're asking if a ceramic is worth the money, I would say it depends. For me, I have gotten tremendous enjoyment out of my ceramics (Primo Oval XL and Primo Jr.), not to mention some awesome food! I worked my way through a few of the cheaper chain store smokers, fighting the classic issues of thin metal, diffculty holding a temp, overnight baby sitting, etc. When I decided to step up to a better smoker, I ended up with the ceramic. They fall in the same price range (and sometimes cheaper than) some of the better smokers on the market. Are they worth the money? For me, yes.
