I love the results of my large size ceramic cooker but the large Kamado cookers make it tough to cook a lot of food at once. Multi level cooking can help but if it is something like burgers or sausages or chcken wings in large amounts which I turn during cooking is is tough to try and turn something underneath the upper level. If it something you want raised from the heat it limits amounts due to smaller size grill surface as you go up higher. You can also cook items after other items come off but it can lengthen cooking time by a lot for big quantities.

I realize they make super size Kamado cookers now and while you can fit more food it is just a bigger version of the same. Multiple cookers are another option go but once again more of the same. While I do not own one and am in no way connected to the company, the XL Oval with all the rack options and direct and indirect options it offers seems to be in a class by itself for flexibility and convenience. For a person that only wants to buy one cooker it would seem to be the perfect solution. Kudos to Primo for a great product.
