I love hot wings and I don’t even have to be in a bar eating them with celery and ranch dressing either. These turned out real good and I think what we done to em was kinda interesting too. I grabbed 10 whole wings (5 bucks worth) while in the store Sunday for something else with the idea of marinating them and cooking them for Monday nights suppa. Well when I got ready that afternoon to put em in the marinade I didn’t have any Italian dressing but I did have a new bottle of Lawry’s Terryalky 30 min marinade, soooo me thinks, wonder what this 30 min stuff would be like if it was on there 24 hrs or so. Fast forward to Monday night and for some dang reason we forgot we had them wings to cook and ate something else fer suppa. That brings us to last night which is 48 hrs after starting them chickens wings swimming in the 30 min stuff and it was the bosses day off so she was kinda enough to have some slaw and fries ready to go when I got there, so I knocked the dust off the Jr and his racks and firebricks and lit the fire. Cooked them at 350 for about 30 or 40 min swapping sides with em once in the middle of that time, then took em up in a med pot and poured a bottle of some kind of hot wing sauce that I added some TP to and brought that up to a simmer then served. The final analysis is that the 30 min stuff is really good if you go 48 hrs instead and you can tell a difference in the meat coming off the bone when your eating them and it is most definitely a positive experience.
