You said: "the XL Oval with all the rack options and direct and indirect options it offers seems to be in a class by itself for flexibility and convenience." It got me thinking what I can do on my xl egg.

- 4 grid locations for direct, single grid cooks: inside fire ring, atop fire ring, at felt line, high in dome;
- 4 set-ups for single grid, indirect cooks, including varing distances between grid, drip pan, ceramic piece and lump.
- 1 double grid indirect set up with approx. 800 sq. inches of grid space and ample room for butts on both grids.
- couple set-ups for partial direct/indirect set-ups, again varying spacing on pieces
- wok cooking, dutch oven and such.
