Been ceramic cooking for 11 years now and own a large Big Green Egg and a Mini Green Egg. I have to agree with a couple of the posts above that say "you can't tell which ceramic grill the food came from if you were blindfolded."

I've a buddy that has a Primo Jr. and we fence about which one can cook the best food. (Gives us something to do.)

From my prospective either BGE or Primo are excellent products both have a dedicated forum and thousands of loyal followers.

Bot of them have lifetime warranties and both companies are very customer centric.

Once you buy a ceramic grill you will never have to replace it and with minimal care and feeding nothing should go wrong that can't be fixed or replaced very easily.

The only word of caution I would add is to buy from an authorized dealer and try to support him afterward. He'll be your best ally should a problem ever arise.

Good luck
