Just letting ya know that I FINALLY got my gasket installed on my XL:) I did buy a new tube of sealant yet the one with that gasket seemed mor epliable that the newer one....

Found out I had a bad dome and while it took a bit to get taken care BGE sent me a new one (delay was not their fault btw). Got the new band also which is real nice!

Sunday we installed the gasket and warmed the egg and let the gasket cure. Yesterday I cooked some bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, chicken thighs and 2 turkey breats (which will go on a salad for tonight) also took some sweet potatoes and peeled and sliced them a good half inch think and grilled then until tender then took a glaze of butter, brown sugar, rum, vanilla and cinnamon and brushed them with it and let the glaze set. Full belly last night:)

Thanks for the help!

Bob
