I have a WSM and a Primo...the WSM is a fantastic cooker, but it (mine anyways) needs more attention then the primo. I have went 24 hours with the Primo (the WSM can get close to that, but it is effected quite a bit by wind and rain, etc). The ceramics heat up like a brick oven and hold much steadier temps then the WSM (thermal mass). Not to mention the cooking, baking, searing, grilling, low and slow cooking that a ceramic can do....I do not have a digiq or other temp control device, but I would bet a person could easily get 30 plus hours burn time, all within 1-2 degree temp variations, with the Primo oval xl...I have heard of the Komodo Kamodo (much pricier cooker) going 80 hours on a single load...looking at the specs of those cookers, I would not doubt it..I need to talk my wife into letting me get one of those...nice....
