Komodo's have had a Guru adaptor faceplate for plug and play use for more than 5 years.. They are also the only ceramic to be able to use a rotisserie with the top closed, they use the EZQ cradle.

I don't even need to address the statement about the two piece firebox. They don't break period.

The self opening feature is definitely a luxury but use it once and you will never go back to pulling open a hot ceramic again. The factory installed internal straps ensure a seal good enough that a Komodo has never burned a gasket.

The fit and finish is impeccable as is the customer service. I think that answers all your questions and more.
