Most brands have situations with cracked fireboxes that alone would not make a product worthless. I had been in contact with the Kamado Joe owner by email and he asked me to look at his before deciding. This was several months ago. He told me there would be some things in place in several weeks.I contacted him back several weeks and never got a response, contacted him again explaining the situation and that I had received no response and still never heard back so that was the end of that.
